Relish finger licking tasty Coorgi cuisine served on a Banana leaf with unlimited doses of steaming coffee or have tasty Mangalorian fish facing the heavenly Panambur beach! While you are there, you can enjoy interacting with the Elephants at Dubare and appreciate the culture and cuisine that the Tibetans have brought into the area by visiting their many monasteries.

Your trip will start by staying in a farm stay in Coorg facing lush green paddy fields where you will be nourished with organic vegetarian Coorgi food and soul touching music to soothe your senses. After which you will proceed to a homestay near Dubare Elephant camp, where you will get to be on to one with Elephants as well as enjoy the greenery around. Following Dubare will be your final destination, Mangalore where you can rest before ending your trip.

Itinerary: 

2 Coorg +1 Night Dubare Elephant camp +1 Night Mangalore

 

Day 1:– Arrive in Mangalore, drive to Coorg(155kms approx) and check into your farm stay, located amidst lush green paddy fields and organic vegetable garden. Check in and unwind. Enjoy traditional home cooked lunch and dinner at your farmstay. Spend the day at leisure.

 

Day 2:– After a delicious Coorgi breakfast take a tour around your host’s rice paddy plantation and learn about what’s grown at the premises. Enjoy the simple pleasures of walking through a farm. After a wholesome lunch head out to visit the famous Tibetan Monasteries and local markets of Coorg. Return to your farm stay by dusk and unwind. Dinner at your farm stay.

 

Day 3:– Post breakfast check out from your farm stay and drive towards Dubare elephant camp . Enjoy your day with a range of activities including elephant rides/feeding the elephants/bathing the elephants. Enjoy sumptuous lunch and dinner at your Elephant camp stay.

 

Day 4:–  After breakfast check out from Elephant camp and head towards Mangalore. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day exploring Mangalore city’s temples. Spend your dusk enjoying at the beautiful white sandy beach of Parambur, a few km from Mangalore where you can also enjoy Camel and Horse riding at the beach.   Lunch and dinner at your choice of restaurant.

 

Day 5:– Enjoy your last day in Mangalore at your will. Fly out from Mangalore to Mumbai. End your trip with memories to cherish.

 

When to go:

The climate in Karnataka is pleasant throughout the year. However, the best time to visit Karnataka is between October to January.

Starts from 20,000 per person (on twin sharing bases). The exact price is based on the following parameters:
